We currently have two primary schools in Manchester (Longsight Community Primary and Unity Community Primary in Cheetham Hill), and we are developing an all-through school in Gorton. This would result in Big Life Schools delivering education and care from the age of two to 16.
We are also in discussion with schools in neighbouring Greater Manchester local authorities who are considering joining Big Life Schools.
Could you become a Big Life School?
We are very passionate about our mission and values, and are not desperate to grow at any cost. If you share our passion, then we might be a good match!
Big Life Schools is a new MAT and we would be keen to work with schools who want to help shape the direction, and support the development of outstanding community based schools.
Big Life Schools values difference. We will value the expertise of Headteachers and schools that might join us and become part of our journey.
Big Life Schools would welcome active local governing bodies. We have a clear system of delegation, making sure that local governing bodies can help shape their school within the parameters set by the MAT.
