Taayba Javed (Member)

Taayba is a founding member of Big Life Schools (formally appointed on 10 August 2012), helping to develop the first bid for a free school that established Longsight Community Primary.   

Taayba has two children and lives in Burnage, South Manchester.  She has a Bachelor of Education – Pakistan OU, Masters of Education – Leadership & Management Institute in Pakistan. Since relocating to England in 2007 she has secured qualifications in: Computer applications, Numeracy and Literacy; E.D.I; NVQ Level 3 in Food and Nutrition, Diploma in Leisure & Hospitality. Taayba has 7-8 years teaching experience at Bahria Foundation College – writing specialist National Grammar School – and Shahir School (teaching 3R’s, science, Urdu, English, mathematics). Taayba was on board of Macmillian Solutions from 2015/16 to 2023 when they restructured.
