Richard Scorer (Member)

Richard is a lawyer specialising in child and vulnerable adult abuse, human rights and public inquiries law. He is Head of Abuse Law and Public Inquiries at Slater and Gordon Lawyers (UK), and a visiting research fellow at the University of Kent.

Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1994. He has acted in many high profile cases and is ranked as a “Leader in the Field” in Chambers Independent Legal Guide and as a “Leading Individual” in Legal 500. He was a non executive director of the Big Life Group from 2013 to 2022 and also chair of the BLG Audit Committee for 7 years.

Richard became a member of Big Life Schools on 16 January 2023.
